Jordan Brand has officially debuted their newest Jordan Ultra Fly silhouette that’s inspired by Michael Jordan’s nickname, Black Cat. The shoe features Kurim material overlay that takes cures from the Black Cat. This overlay forms a cage-like upper delivering a custom fit with flexible structure. Its design follows a pattern that mimics the coat of a spotted leopard. As the NBA playoff push continues to take shape, Jordan Brand releases a striking new silhouette crafted for many of its endorsing athletes. The new silhouette, titled the Jordan Ultra Fly, draws inspiration from its namesake figure and “his ability to strike with purpose” like a black cat. Boasting a bold Kurim overlay that formulates a cage-like upper, the sleek look draws inspiration from another cat that strikes at a moments notice, the leopard. Jimmy Butler will don the new silo on-court in the weeks to come as the Bulls continue to jock for postseason positioning.
Michael Jordan’s near-sociopathic obsession to win is what made him the G.O.A.T. Toward the twilight of his career, Mike redefined his game as an insanely efficient scorer through a seemingly limitless array of moves like his patented turn-around jumper. It earned him the nickname “Black Cat” for what Nike says was “his ability to strike with purpose”. With that theme in mind, and with the help of another Chicago Bull in Jimmy Butler, Jordan Brand is proud to introduce the Jordan Ultra Fly just-in-time for the playoff push ahead. The silhouette features a unique Kurim overlay that forms a caged upper for a structure that’s not only supportive but ultra flexible to the movement of one’s foot. The design manages to take aesthetic cues from the spotted leopard. You can catch the Ultra Fly on Jimmy Buckets’ feet later this week as the Bulls continue to fight for a playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.
